 The Promise of Purity; A Great Gift for Your Pre-Teen or Teenager December 7, 2008

My 14 year old daughter recently mentioned that she wanted a "Purity Ring" to declare her beliefs in remaining pure until marriage. My wife and I were really taken aback with our teenager's willingness to openly display her intention of abstinence. Of course we were (and still are) very proud of her, and decided that this was a great idea. After a great deal of searching local jewelry stores and several sites on the Internet, we decided on this "True Love Waits" ring on Amazon.
The ring arrived roughly one week after we ordered it. The picture shown on the product page just doesn't do justice to the look of the actual ring itself. It has a brilliant shine and the words are very precise and easy to read. The ring is simply gorgeous! Although the ring comes in a very simple gold colored cardboard box, the box is enclosed in a very nice looking padded metallic blue pouch. Our daughter really loves the ring, and she wears it every day. She removes it only to clean it, from time to time, and is showing very little sign of wear. Of course the shinny surface will begin to show little scratches over time, but the black letters have not faded a bit and the ring still looks very nice.
Overall I feel that this is an awesome gift for any parent to give to their pre-teen or teenage child. Although the ring cannot guarantee that a child will remain pure, it is a constant symbol to your child that TRUE love can wait until marriage. The cost of this product is low, but the value of the symbolic message is priceless. It gets 5 stars in my book, and I highly recommend it to parents everywhere!

Item shipped very fast and was here the next week. It was for my girlfriend, not me, haha. She really liked it and it fit just right!
The Ring is perfect September 30, 2008
Our 14 year old daughter asked for this ring to show the kids in High School she was staying true to our beliefs as Christians that true love waits. I was a little nervous ordering it online, but its perfect and she loves it! She wears it everyday.

This ring was a present for a friend's 16th birthday. The fit was true to size and style was exactly what she wanted. It is slimmer than other rings I've seen in the past and complimented her hand nicely. Recommend for anyone looking for a stylish way to encourage purity and grace in our girls.

Beautiful ring, shipping was fast.. The letters are engraved black, which is very cool; unfortunately, after a month of wearing, the black is kind of fading. Not a big deal to me, though; just makes it look like something I have had for a while... while I haven't had the ring that long, the inscription it reads has been with me for a very long time..
